Titan Titan-Diborid Titan-Carbonitrid

TITANIUM (Ti) FOR TITANIUM NITRIDE (TiN) AND TITANIUM CARBONITRIDE (TiCN)  STANDARD COATINGS

Titanium as an all-purpose weapon for titanium nitride and titanium carbonitride based coatings for tools and decorative applications

Extension of the service life by three to four times with titanium nitride layers

With titanium nitride layers, a massive extension of the service life of precision tools can be achieved. TiN is still the best solution for many applications: both in the manufacture of tools and decorative applications due to its ceramic surface properties and an exclusive touch with a gold-like color.

Titanium Carbonitride TiCN - a good candidate for cutting or forming metal

With titanium, sophisticated TiN and TiCN coatings are possible that:

  • have high hardness and toughness

  • offer excellent properties of wear resistance

  • due to their low roughness (TiCN layers) offer effective protection against cold welding

  • Due to the gold-like color, enable the production of inexpensive and at the same time exclusive-looking decorative products

  • Both ARC, Sputter, HiPIMS as hybrid coatings can be produced

Standard applications are a thing of the past,
unique and outstanding coating results are now in demand.

Tailor-made alloys for specific and demanding applications and

of course also standard sizes in the form of individual offers.

INNOVATIVE COATINGS
TO MEET THE HIGH MARKET AND CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS

The crystal structure of TiN can be adjusted by its broad deposition temperature from 180 ° C to 480 ° C.

This means that specific coating parameters can also be individually adapted.

Low-stress TiN coatings can be produced by optimizing coating parameters.
